From 8.-10. September 2023, cross-country skiers from all over the world will meet in the beautiful Gastein Valley for the season's grand finale. #CelebrateTheSport is the motto of the adidas TERREX INFINITE TRAILS in SalzburgerLand/ Austria, and it runs like a red thread throughout the event, which according to the participants "is so much more than just a race". In 2022, over 50 nations were at the start. However, the field only included two Norwegians, so we hope to welcome more "Vikings" in the years to come.

It doesn't matter if you are experiencing your very first trail race as a beginner on the 15K loop or as an ultra-fan scrubber you a whopping 5,000 meters of altitude over three Gastein peaks on the unique 60K route, at @infinitetrailsrace all skill levels will enjoy a unique and unforgettable trail weekend. From the arrival in the Gastein valley to the post-race Kaiserschmarrn party on top of the Stubnerkogel, you will be surrounded by passionate runners and the running community, enthusiastic spectators, caring volunteers and a perfectly coordinated organizational team. The special atmosphere can be felt by everyone.

Since the beginning, the focus has been on INFINITE TRACKS THE TEAM. Here you run not just for yourself, but for your teammates. Three runners start as a relay in the category women, men or mixed. All teams must cover a total distance of 100 kilometers and 7,600 meters of altitude, divided into three different loops that take into account different types of runners: Loop S = 21km/1900m - Loop M = 35km/2700m - Loop L = 44km/3000m. In order to have enough daylight running time for all three distances and as much "together time" as possible after the race, the three team members start at the same time in the morning.

Solo runners are also welcome on adidas TERREX INFINITE TRACKS and can choose from three distances: 15K/900vm, 45K/3000vm or 60K/5000vm.

The shared experience is not only in the foreground in the team format. The entire race day is designed in such a way that the running environment can share many special moments with each other.

In addition to many meters of altitude on fantastic single tracks and around 350 highly motivated volunteers along the route, the race is. , which is organized with great attention to detail, offers runners an almost luxurious custom-made area with several saunas, a hot tub, a swimming lake and a physiotherapy center for regeneration.

The Alpentherme Gastein is exclusively available to participants on the day of the race as the athlete's garden is free of charge entrance part of the starter package. And to ensure that the last finishers can also enjoy the special atmosphere, the awards ceremony takes place in the thermal spa – and seamlessly transitions into a big party.
