Join us in 2025 when we organize the 12th edition of Backyard Ultra Sandefjord

A different, social and exciting race concept.

The start is at 10 am on Saturday, October 25, 2025. A slightly hilly lap of approximately 6.7 km will be run every hour (50 miles completed in all 12 laps). Anyone who fails to start the next lap every hour is eliminated and will be directed to the "after run" venue to cheer on the remaining participants. The last runner who can start wins, however, a maximum of 12 laps has been set so that if there are several participants left on the last lap, the first participant to finish will be declared the winner of Backyard Sandefjord

It is therefore important to set up a smart race, if you run fast you can enjoy a break in a warm venue before the next start, if you run slowly you save energy - the tactics are up to you! We plan for it to be a social event with a low participation threshold, whether you participate only to run 1 lap, complete more laps than your neighbor or steel yourself for victory is up to you.

GENERAL

- We serve food to all participants during the race, type of "diesel" food: bread, cured meats, various cold cuts, coffee, soda and water.

- Toilets are available

- All participants get their own break space/chair inside the hall

- Kiosk

- All participation is at your own risk!

MANDATORY EQUIPMENT

When darkness comes, it is mandatory to use both a reflective vest and a headlamp (remember extra batteries). The organizer will notify when this is required for everyone. To attach your start number, we recommend that you use a race belt, so that it is easy to always have your start number on the outside even if you change clothes.
