Description

Fløyen-Knarvik (formerly Bergen Fjell og FjordTur/FjordLøp) is a hiking march/race of approx. 27 km. The route runs from Fløyen to AMFI Knarvik.

Large parts of the trip follow the old post road and continue on pavement/road/path over Nordhordlandsbrua, Flatøy and Hagelsundbrua to Knarvik Senter. If you don't want to walk the whole trip, you can start from IKEA in Åsane (14km).

Trip with the cable car up to Fløyen is incl. in the registration.

Trails

There are trail guards along the entire trail. The Red Cross will have stations along the trail.

The trail from Fløyen is 27 km long and has a total ascent of 800m.

The trail from IKEA Åsane is approx. 14 km long.

Trail markings: KM mark, signs with arrows, red and white marking tapes.

Remember good shoes and not least good feet. Sneakers that have been used a couple of times are perhaps the best. There is approx. 50% asphalt, 30% gravel and 20% path on the trip. You have to dress according to the weather. Bring a small rucksack so that you can dress and undress according to the weather. There are 5 drink/food stations set up on the trip from Fløyen. The first after about 8km. Still take some drink and food in your rucksack.
