The Copenhagen Marathon is world-renowned for its beautiful and atmospheric route. Here the runners come through Inner Copenhagen and past iconic landmarks such as Rosenborg Castle, the Marble Church, Tivoli and Kongens Nytorv - and on through Nørrebro, Vesterbro, Frederiksberg and Østerbro.

Along the way, thousands of spectators, DJs, dancers, choirs and live bands to help you on your way, so you almost forget about tired legs. The route is also completely flat and without sharp turns. Therefore, it is suitable for very fast runners as well as beginners.

And remember: Once you have run a marathon, you are a marathon runner for the rest of your life.

Copenhagen Marathon offers one of the world's best pacer services. Up to 60 pacers divided into 13 pace teams are top-trained to lead you from start to finish in your dream time. This means that runners of all levels are guaranteed a good and safe marathon experience, regardless of whether you are chasing a personal record or want to run across the finish line with energy and a smile on your face. The pacers run in final times from 3 – 5 hours with 10 minute intervals.
