Dynafit Hardangerjøkulen Ultra

Description

Dynafit Hardangerjøkulen Ultra is a terrain ultra race that mainly runs on mountain paths near Vøringsfossen and around Hardangerjøkulen. The trail runs in mountainous terrain and mainly follows the Norwegian Tourist Association's grid, some easy trails and some very technically demanding. The paths can be both wet, slippery and covered in snow. Along the way, the participants must also cross some small rivers.

Apart from the last few kilometers towards the finish line, the course will not be marked and it is strongly recommended that the participants take a close look at the entire route on detailed maps before taking part in the race. There is no or very poor mobile phone coverage on the route and long distances between checkpoints.
