Fantapyttløpet

Description

The Fantapytt race takes you on a marked path with technical and fun terrain that takes you from Bolder Skylodge via Fantapytten to Preikestolen fjellstue. The path runs along the fjord into Fantajuvet before turning towards Preikestolen Base Camp. Fantastic view over the Lysefjorden!

The surface is terrain, sometimes demanding and technical. We recommend good shoes, preferably terrain running shoes. The trail is well marked, but will also be marked with an LXT flag. During the race, there are some bridges and rises that you have to go over and up. The track is also sometimes narrow, be considerate.

The race is relatively short, but the weather conditions can change quickly, we encourage all runners to dress for the weather on race day.

At Fantapytten after approx. 4.5 km is the intermediate time. For those who want to take the time to do so, it will be possible to take a picture there. In addition, we have some drinks and sugar available.

The finish line is at the Preikestolen Base camp.

Everyone who completes the race will be awarded a medal.

There will be a 1-2-3 prize in the ladies' and men's class.

\ n Parking:

When you approach the Preikestolen parking lot, you will meet a parking attendant with a yellow reflective vest standing by a green Lysefjorden X trails beach flag, refer to the person in question and you will be told where to park. There will be free parking for the runners.

From the car park to the starting area, a bus has been set up for the participants. The trip takes about 20 min.
