Welcome to the Lake Stephens Finns Up 5K and Kids Splash Dash hosted by Active Southern West Virginia – a thrilling race experience set against the stunning backdrop of Lake Stephens. Mark your calendars for July 20th, 2024, and get ready to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the area while enjoying a family-friendly event filled with excitement and celebration.

5K Race: Starting at the Lake Stephens beach/splash pad parking lot area , the Finns Up 5K takes you on a picturesque journey along a relatively flat out-and-back course. The trail guides you through a wooded trail, offering a perfect balance of challenge and enjoyment. The race is walker and dog friendly. The 5K will be chip timed and is open to all ages wanting to podium. Awards will be given to top finishers in each division.

Kids Splash Dash:  The Kids Splash Dash is a free non-timed fun run for youth ages 12 and under.

Experience a day of post-race festivities on the beach, featuring games, prizes, food trucks, and a live DJ!
