We are turning 5 – and we want to celebrate with speed, community and partying! 🎉

Lace up your running shoes – or put on your walking shoes – and join us as we once again fill Gellerup and Toveshøj with laughter, life and happy kilometers.

On Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 1:00 PM, we invite you to an adventure run for all ages and paces. Bring your family, neighbor, colleague or just your good mood – and experience Aarhus' greenest district from a whole new angle!

Run Between the Houses is more than a race – it's a party in motion!

THE ROUTES

You can choose to either walk or run one mile (1.67 km) or 5 km. There will be entertainment and surprise features along the routes. Both routes go through the new, beautiful city park.

ENTERTAINMENT ON THE ROUTE AND AFTER THE RACE

This year we have turned up the entertainment and surprises on the route even more to keep the atmosphere up and provide motivation and good spirits along the way. In the city park, at the start and finish area, there will be music and entertainment before and after the race. In the city park there are lots of free activities such as food stalls, bouncy castles, a cool obstacle course and much more! There will also be a selection of delicious food stalls, ice cream, coffee and cake as well as cold refreshments.

We are ready to give children and adults an experience a little out of the ordinary!

Brabrand Boligforening, Aarhus Municipality, Det Boligsociale Hus and Kultursamler. The race is held in collaboration with Aarhus 1900 Athletics and Running and DGI Østjylland.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION:

Start and finish area

The start and finish can be found in the middle of Trille Lucassens Gade, which is located at the southern end of the city park.

The address is: Trille Lucassens Gade, 8220 Brabrand.

Start number collection and luggage storage:

Start number collection is open between 11:00 and 13:00 on race day. Arrive in good time.

Location: At the start and finish area, Trille Lucassens Gade, 8220 Brabrand.

Parking and public transport:

Car: Blixens Parkeringshus Inger Christensens Gade 47-51, 8220 Brabrand (470 FREE spaces).

Bus: Bus 4A goes directly to the door - get off at the stops “Verdenspladsen” or “City Vest/Tinesvej”. Buses 15 and 6A also stop close to Trille Lucassens Gade. Get off at the stop “Globus1”.
