We look forward to welcoming you again this year to the Light Race and the Family Light Race held by the Copenhagen Light Festival in collaboration with DGI Nordsjælland.

Light race length: 7 km. (DKK 250/person).

Early Bird on the Light Run until 1 January 2025.

Family Light Run length: 3 km. (DKK 125/person)

Run through beautiful Copenhagen and experience the beautiful light installations that are part of the Copenhagen Light Festival. There is no time taken for the race, which gives you the opportunity to enjoy the trip and experience Copenhagen come alive in the light of your fellow participants. EVERYONE to dress up in as many luminous objects as they may have at home and take part in the competition for the best "light costume" 🌟🔆

Briefly about Copenhagen Light Festival

Copenhagen Light Festival runs over three weeks in February and has more than 300,000 visitors. The festival presents over 50 oases of light works in the dark, as well as a number of pop-up events.

The Lysløbet is the largest pop-up event and is organized in collaboration between DGI Nordsjælland and Copenhagen Light Festival.

Registration is binding and purchased starting numbers cannot be refunded.

We are once again excited to welcome you to 'Lysløbet" (Light run) and Familie lysløbet (Family light run), in collaboration with Copenhagen Light Festival.

Light Run distance: 7 km (250 DKK/person).

Early Bird registration for the Light Run is available until January 1, 2025.

Family Light Run distance: 3 km (125 DKK/person).

Take a scenic run through beautiful Copenhagen and experience the stunning light installations that are part of the Copenhagen Light Festival. The run is untimed, allowing you to fully enjoy the route and see Copenhagen come alive in the glow of your fellow participants.

Dress up a little extra!

In addition to the string of lights you'll receive before the start of the race, we encourage EVERYONE to wear as many glowing items as they have, and compete for the title of best “light outfit” 🌟🔆
