The La Rochelle Serge Vigot Marathon is a scenic and flat race along the Atlantic coast, starting and finishing in the historic city of La Rochelle, and taking runners through picturesque towns and villages. The race attracts runners from all over the world.

The Marathon course is designed in two loops, it helps to concentrate the spectators, and therefore to ensure a lively atmosphere and constant encouragement! Fast thanks to the almost flat ground and the double start separating the runners into two groups at the start (regrouping at 610 m.), it is conducive to records. Animations punctuate the race: 12 orchestras are installed on the course (every 2 km).
