Marselisløbet

Description

The Marselis run is a traditional Danish exercise race, where many of the best runners from Central and Eastern Jutland come together to run the two beautiful and hilly distances: 6 km and 12 km through the Marselisborg forests. Children have a special three km route, which is suitable for the little legs. The first Marselis race took place in 1972 and had 1,700 runners who completed it, and for many years the race has been one of the largest in Denmark.

In 2021, the traditional Marselis race could celebrate its 50th anniversary, which received a distinguished mark. The Marseli race will not be held in 2022, and the organizers behind it have gone into the thinking box to find out how the race should be in the future
