Øhavssti Etape Marathon - Etape 3

The route follows the Øhavsstien, which takes us around the beautiful nature of South Funen in the most beautiful way. We will encounter every conceivable surface: tramp paths, gravel roads, asphalt, sand, etc.

There is a depot approximately halfway and at the finish line. At the halfway depot you can get a delicious beer from Ø-Bryg (Thurø) and at the finish line you get an equally delicious beer from Svendborgsund Bryghus (Tåsinge). At both depots it is also possible to fill fluid bladders with water.

Requirements for participation:

* IMPORTANT SPECIFICATION: You DO NOT NEED to be able to figure out how to run from a GPX file if you think it is too much trouble.

But once you have realized how easy it actually is to download the GPX file from my website - www.svaneberg-running.dk - and put it on your watch, it is clearly easiest to run following the GPX file. There are videos on my website that show how to do it.

You CAN also run following the official Øhavssti poles and/or the Øhavssti folders that you can get before the start, where the route is shown. But since poles can be hidden behind vegetation and since the route CAN be changed compared to the route in the folder, there will be a greater risk of running incorrectly. A risk that the individual participant must be prepared to live with if they do not run following the GPX file.

*There will be crossings of busy public roads. The run must be done with respect for other road users and with compliance and caution with respect to the Danish Road Traffic Act. Participation is at your own risk.

The race follows Klub100 Marathon's race criteria, i.e.:

* The individual runner is therefore OWNER responsible for taking time and subsequently noting their finishing time on the results list, which is located in the depot at the finish area.

* The watch must not be stopped en route and autostop must be turned off on the watch.

You can run according to GPX files, official Øhavssti poles and/or Øhavssti folders, which you can get before the start.

Any changes of clothes will take place in the open air.
