Description
Join the Pas marathon! The route runs in the nationally valuable cultural landscape of the villages of Kaukola and Tyrväänkylä through extensive ancient remains. On the route, you can enjoy the autumnal field and river scenery as well as architecture in the form of, for example, the Tyrvää power plant. The route is fairly fast with a few hills and the running surface is both asphalt and gravel. Come and experience a unique running event!
Event time: Saturday 2 November 2024. Marathon at 10 a.m., half marathon at 11 a.m. and quarter marathon (10.55 km) at 11:30 a.m.
Race office opens at 8 a.m.
Venue: Kaukola village hall, Kaukolantie 133, 38210 Sastamala
Distances and series: M/N marathon, M/N half marathon and M/N quarter marathon
Maximum number of participants: total 80
Route: Route has been officially measured (August 4, 2020 Timo Marjomäki). The marathon is run in four 10.55 km laps, the half marathon in two and the quarter marathon in one lap. The route is marked with signs.

Timing: The event will have manual timing on behalf of the organizer. The maximum time is 6 hours.
Maintenance: The Kaukola village hall serves as the competition center, with separate changing rooms and showers for men and women. Space is reserved for equipment bags. No storage of valuables.
The service points are located at approx. 3.5 km, approx. 8 km and 10.5 km. Sports drink, water, pickles and raisins are available at the service. In addition, there is also a banana at the 10.5 km service point. After the competition, a soup lunch and coffee will be available.
Prizes: The best in each category will be awarded a local food prize.
