Dear running friends!

Let us celebrate a wonderful running experience on the beautiful running course through the Mozart City! The 21th edition of the Salzburg Marathon will take place as the climax of the Running Festival of the Mozart City from 5th to 12th May, 2024 in Salzburg with a large offer of competitions and running programs to participate in.

We invite you to a special running experience in Salzburg. The Running Festival of Mozart City is your stage. Make your running dreams come true! Enjoy a unique spectacle in front of a wonderful scenery! Dive into all the facets that make a successful running weekend! Feel the sound of running!

The Running Festival of Mozart City provides you a large active-program over four days including competitions for every runner. A perfect opportunity to highlight your trip to Salzburg with a common running experience together with your family or your friends.The very flat running course, measured according to the specifications of AIMS and World Athletics, leads you directly to most of the famous places of Mozarts’s hometown.

– 21st Salzburg Marathon (42.195km) – Start: Sunday, 12th May at 8:30 am

– Sparkasse Half Marathon (21.0975 km) – Start: Sunday, 12th May at 8:30 am

– Relay Marathon (4 runners, 42.195 km – Start: Sunday, 12th May at 8:40 am

– Hervis-10K Salzburg City Run (10km) – Start: Sunday, 12th May at 8:15 am

– Junior Marathon (480 / 960 / 1,920 m) – Start: Saturday, 11th May from 3:15 pm

– One Mile For A Smile – Inclusion Run (1,920 m) – Start: Saturday, 11th May at 6:30 pm

– Cup&Cino Breakfast Run (4 routes, max. 7 km) – Start: Saturday, 11th May at 8:30 am

– 16th Salzburg Women’s Run (5.5 km running & walking) – Start: Friday, 10th May at 7:15 pm

– GipfelTreffen (Speedhiking on Gaisberg, about 9km, altitude difference: 842m) – Start: Thursday, 9th May at 9 am
