Description

StigeLøberne will again hold the New Year's race this year at hm, 10 km, 5 km and 2.8 km (children's/fun run/walking)

Start time and place

The race starts at Søhus Hallen, Bispeengen 3, 5270 Odense N. At 10.30 am. (9.30 am for 1/2 marathon) Follow the flags from the parking lot at Søhusskolen.

Start and finish area at/in Søhushallen.

Start number collection from 8.45 am on the day (31/12) - please arrive in good time!

There is timing, which takes place via chip in the start number, after which times immediately appear on the race result.

Catering

There is a liquid depot on the 10 and 21.1 km route at the finish area. After the race, champagne (soda or juice for children) and a cake will be served.

Route description

The race will be run on a traffic-safe route (cycle paths) around Søhus, and along the Odense Canal, the surface is both gravel and asphalt. It is a 5 km. route, which is run 2 laps at the 10 km. race. The 2.8 km. route is run in a loop along the Odense Canal. At the distances of 2.8 km. and 5 km. it is possible to walk. However, all walkers are asked to start at the back of the starting field. The route for the 1/2 marathon is first a small loop at Søhusskolen (the path towards Lille Rugbjerg Vej) and then the 5 km. route four times.

Prizes

There is a prize for the fastest runner at the following distances/age groups:

2.8 km. (children's race): Boy 0-9 years

2.8 km. (children's race): Girl 0-9 years

5 km. Boy under 15 years

5 km. Girl under 15 years

5 km. Woman 15 years+

5 km. Man 15 years+

10 km. Woman 15 years+

10 km. Man 15 years+

21.1 km. Woman 15 years+

21.1 km. Man 15 years+

There are a lot of prizes that will be drawn on the starting number. We strive to have approx. 100 raffle prizes. So remember to save and check your starting number before you leave the race.

Regardless of whether you win a prize or not, we would like to have all starting numbers returned, this is because there is a chip in the starting number that can be reused.
