Description
The Bristol Severn:
Just a smidge over a marathon distance, and generally a comparatively flat race (just one little hill).
The route:
The route soon re-joins the Severn Path and reaches the river again at Purton, briefly departing at Sharpness and Newton before circumnavigating the Berkeley Power Station, then back to the river taking on Oldbury-on-Severn, Oldbury Pill and Littleton Pill.
Pass under the M48 and M4 motorway bridges, and arrive at the mouth of the Severn ‘Severn Beach’
Finishers:
All finishers of the Bristol Severn will be awarded a bespoke medal and a Bristol Severn technical t-shirt.
The first male and female will also benefit from a champions trophy each.
