Tøyen Parkrun

Description

Tøyen Parkrun is a free low-threshold event organized by volunteers every Saturday at 9:30.

The track is measured precisely using a professional measuring wheel. The route partly runs on permanent paths and hiking trails. Some parts of the trail can become muddy, leaves can collect and there will be mud puddles after rain. Depending on the number of volunteers, we will have guards on important parts of the trail. Otherwise, we will put up signs.

The meeting point is at the bottom of the park, with the finish area. The start is directly above the large white statue. Tøyen parkrun is 5 laps clockwise around the park. Target is on a grassy area near the bottom of the park. The trail is a mixture of hills and flat sections that provide a good view over Oslo. The surface is mostly asphalt.
