Digeløbet Højer 2024 - 40th Anniversary

Distances

421 m Kindergarten run, 4.7 km, 9.4 km, 21.1 km in and around the Wadden Sea National Park.

Registration

Online until 11 May 2024 at 9.45.

Kindergarten children: FREE. Children 6-16 years: DKK 50. Adults: DKK 100. All prices include an online fee of DKK 8.00 per registration. It is possible to register later on the spot if the race is not sold out (fee DKK 20). ATTENTION there is max. 200 starting numbers.

Pick up at the Marshallen on race day at 9.30 - 10.30. The start number must be worn visibly on the chest.

Medals, trophies and prizes

There are beautiful medal holders for everyone who completes the race. Approx. At 12:30, trophies will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in all distances for girls, boys, women and men. Then distribution of prizes, donated by local businesses and companies.

We follow the path on the sea dyke towards 'National Park Wadden Sea' to Højer Sluse. We run over the bridge by the lock, we leave the sea dyke, turn east and run on the dyke to the bridge over Vidåen. We cross the stream and follow it along Højer Havn towards Højer Lock. From here we run on the old sea dyke back to the Marskhallen.

We follow the path on the sea dyke towards 'Nationalpark Wadden Sea' to Højer Sluse, then along the Vidåen via the Marskstien through Margrethe Kog, which is the last reclaimed marshland, to the Vidåslsuen, which was inaugurated on 10.5.1982. Here we cross the stream and the advanced dyke from 1982, which we follow to Emmerlev Klev along the asphalted bærmevej outside the dyke. At Emmerlev Klev, the new dike meets the Emmerlev dike from 1927, where we follow the Marskstien back to the Marshallen.

Wheelchair users and others. : Between Højer Slusen and Vidåslusen, the paved Slusevej can be used.
