Students grades 1 through 12 walk/run for free. Registration required.

Join us as we walk and run on March 16, 2024 in The Healing Races of Memphis. Every one who registers receives a t-shirt and a race bag.

Improving literacy is one way we heal our family, our community and our city. The Healing Races of Memphis aims to bring awareness to illiteracy.

According to research: In Memphis, 1 in 7 adults do not read above a 6th grade level and, on top of that, only 24.1% of students complete the 3rd grade reading on grade level. The struggles that come with low literacy are far-reaching, straining not only the individual but the entire community.

Children Event Ages 4-12 $5

Team of 20 or more $20 per person

Team of 15-19 $21 per person

Team of 10-14 $22 per person

Team of 5-9 $23 per person

Note: Members of The Healing Cathedral - fees are $5.00 less than noted above, for the 10K and 5K and 1 Mile race, children's challenge fees are the same for non members and members $5

Medals

Each finisher receives a medal.

Each age group winner will be recognized on race day and will receive a placement medal .

Age Groups for both the 5k and 10k

10 & Under,11 -19, 20 - 29, 30 - 39, 40 - 49, 50 - 59, 60+Timing

Start to Finish Company will time the 5K and the 10K

The 1 Mile Walk/Run will not be timed.

The t-shirt comes in long and short sleeve.
